Lasater Ranch is a fourth generation family endeavor located on 30,000 acres of short grass prairie in Matheson, CO. Matheson is approx. 50 miles north east of Colorado Springs. Lasater Grasslands Beef is 100% grassfed (pasture raised) and organic. Our cattle are raised without antibiotics, pesticides, hormones, growth implants, animal by-products, or steroids.

Edible Front Range-The Cow Whisperer
Edible Front Range featured Dale Lasater and Lasater Grassland Beef in their Winter 2010 issue. For any of you that are fortunate to take a day next spring and visit the ranch with me, we will ride in the old Suburban and try whispering too.
